Parr Family Campout

So every year we go camping with Jared's family. This year we went to Fort Stevens and had a great time. Got rained out, just like last year so we had to leave early. What is with the weather this year! Anyway, we went to the Kite Festival in Long Beach on Friday. Grandpa Parr bought Conner his very own kite which we took out the next day at the beach at Fort Stevens. He had a blast. The kite festival was fun, and very interesting. We have never seen someone fly a kite to "Wind Beneath My Wings" and various other love songs. We got a good laugh out of that. Saturday we went to the Fort. I was worried the kids would be bored, but they had a great time. All in all it was a nice weekend.
